Materials Installation for Husky Mud Guards

Truck Champ’s Mud Guards are produced by Husky using standard heavy duty rubber materials (such as modified propylene) as specified by the OEM manufacturers. Most Mud Guards are contoured and wrap around the fender but some are flat because of mounting areas that have heavy vinyl cladding. Mud Guards have evolved with customer needs, including what looks good. Our Mud Guards are custom molded to fit your truck or SUV and designed to make installation easier. Most people install them without difficulty and without the assistance of a professional.

It is important that you mount your Mud Guards horizontal to the ground to ensure a secure fit − they should not sit at an angle. Our products are pre-drilled with at least one factory hole, which bolts on and locks the Mud Guard into its proper position. Because they come with the installation hardware and typically only require what is in your tool kit, a set of front Mud Guards take about half an hour to put on, while all four around an hour. In some circumstances, depending on the application, some minor drilling may be required for mounting. If you need to remove your tires to install the Mud Guards, additional time will be necessary to achieve a perfect fit.
